ABOUT

The Turtle Doves Bring Their Unique Sound to Every Song They Sing

The mother-daughter duo of the Turtle Doves had been performing together for years, but formally started their band in 2015.

Kelly Kadlec has played professional piano since the 1980's.  The music director at the Church of St. George in Long Lake, she brings a wealth of experience to the group.  Singing as well as playing piano, guitar, bass, cello, cajon, harmonica and accordion, each song has a unique sound.

Deline Kadlec was the youngest vocal major at the University of Northwestern, but graduated with her BA from Concordia College in Moorhead in music education and spanish.  While in college, Deline performed in Concordia's top choir and vocal jazz 1 as well as leading the capella group "The Cobbertones".   Deline is equally comfortable with styles from opera to country--as long as there is a story to tell.  She plays guitar, bass, ukelele, cajon, and piano, but her true gift is her unique voice.
